Cat has been interested in graphic design for many years and decided to finally take the leap! She liked that the college includes a strong English component, and finds the program itself is well-rounded.
Cat integrates her interests in science, natural history, and vintage fabrics and patterns with her graphic art designs. Mostly learning new technical skills at present, she adds, “I love collaborating and brainstorming with other artists.” When hard at work, she is probably listening to great music that she knows well. A tv and movies buff, she also loves to read and swim to relax…though not at the same time! Heh.
Cat has grown more confident with the technical aspects of graphic design, such as in her ability to problem solve. She feels that, “Determination is a key factor to succeeding.” Her faculty banner is a favourite project, since it worked well and was an enjoyable venture from beginning to end. She also had fun with the character development for her 3D building.
Cat especially enjoys working on one main project at a time.
